October UPDATE!

Hello everyone, house 3 is complete and the kids are moved in! 

House 4 is about ¾ done.  We are holding off on finishing the interior until we can get the word out a little better to some of the more remote area of Indonesia.  In the meantime, we are going to use the funds that St Johns has so graciously donated, to add a water tower and create a common area for the kids in the center of the homes  We are very much looking forward to them having an area to themselves that can be used for sports or just to play. 

The concert benefit for Mahanaim Village at St. John was amazing! 

Despite torrential downpours we had quite a showing of support.  It was a little overwhelming to us that there are so many out there willing to support this project.  The kids that performed were truly amazing.  The amount of time and effort that they put into the benefit was incredible and words cannot describe our appreciation to them.  We also would like to thank Norman Babia, the music director, as well as Molly Olah, the TRIAM adviser, Julia Lee, TRIAM President, and of course Pat Bennett, the ST John Headmaster. 

Christmas is around the corner! 

I spoke to Denok and she is thinking $30 USD to get something they need, something they want, and for stocking stuffers.  She said that most would like a pair of soccer cleats or dress shoes.  If you would like to add for your November 1 or December 1 donation for a Christmas gift for your child, Denok will do all the shopping and take pictures.
